Fly Fishing in Lithuania

Ripley Davenport has written an interesting article for Global Fly Fisher: Thin Blue Lines.

Beautiful countryside with small to moderate sized trout in rather inexpensive country. Looks like my kind of place - maybe even a place for next summer vacation...

Lithuania looks nice.
However I prefer more mountain-ish area with gin clear streams for my fishing. It just fits my idea of fly fishjing in its purest form.

Lithuania should be just around the corner for you Olli?

Lithuania is quite close indeed. I could drive or fly there. I've been in Estonia and Latvia but never in Lithuania.

For my part every person ought to go through it.
