X-Caddis
I love caddis patterns. They are very important in my waters although caddisflies may not be as beautiful as mayflies. One of my favourite emerging mayfly pattern is Sparkle Dun. This pattern in very similar to tie as X-Caddis. I like simple patterns best, so I added few X-Caddis emergers to my selection.

I like the x-caddis, probably because I'm lazy.
It ties very quickly and works well in the smaller #16-#18 sizes, which is the size caddis I seem to be fishing nowadays (when I fish a caddis).
I think it's healthy to be lazy and to tie quick patterns. My fly tying isn't an art - it's part of my fly fishing.
This one is tied on #14 hook, but it probably would be a good idea to work some smaller ones as well...
